SMU-YWCA Childrens' Day Outing!
SMU-YWCA-small.jpg Besides animals, PAW loves children too! On 27th September, we brought a group of 20 children from Young Womens' Christian Association of Singapore (YWCA) for a Childrens' Day outing. The day started with a visit to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) animal adoption pound. The children were happy, of course, to see so many dogs and cats and to have the chance to play with them. Admist all that, they also asked very important questions. Simple, but important. "Why are the animals here?"

Irresponsible and selfish pet owners, I was tempted to say. But that would be sweeping. The SPCA trip turned out fruitful, we taught them to be kind to animals and to be responsible pet owners in the future. After that, we headed back to school for Macs lunch and to watch Madagascar - an interesting and funny cartoon that teaches children that animals belong to the wild and captivity can drive them crazy. Then, we took some photos, gave them a pretty goodie bag and we said our good-byes.

So, what do children and animals have in common? Well, for one, they're really adorable and innocent. And although they can be naughty sometimes (okay, a lot of times), you know you can count on them to express love with abandon - love for everything, big or small, young or old, human or animal.

Launch of Noah's Ark CARES 2009 Calendar
NA-Cal-Small.jpg Dear Friends, Supporters and Well-Wishers,
Buy a Noah's Ark CARES 2009 Calendar and help support the animals at our Sanctuary.
For the year 2009, we feature stories of HOPE, from the graceful Lady, to her puppy Prince, industrial dog Truffles, Benji and many more - read about their stories and how they have found HOPE . . . and HAPPINESS! All the dogs featured in our 2009 calendar have found both love and their forever homes. Unfortunately this is often not the situation and fairy tale endings are hard to come by. However we'd like to start the year afresh with THE ARK OF HOPE by showcasing these fortunate dogs  and we pray that with the coming year, more fairy tales will come true, for the animals and all at Noah's Ark. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving them HOPE. Without your support and belief, our work with the animals would not be possible.

Vivace 2008
vivaceMain-small.jpg VIVACE is a day for everyone to participate and be engaged in fun-filled activities with all the different clubs. PAW was certainly one that captures the hearts of many! We had our booth nicely decorated with bright colours, cute animal plush toys, and not forgetting our adorable lion mascot that was getting so much attention! Of course, we had loads of fun ourselves as we shared our passion for animals with everyone.
We took the opportunity to spread our motto to many, which is to Spread the Love to all our furry friends. Something in which PAW strongly believes in is to treat our furry friends humanely.
Many animal lovers shared their love with PAW by taking photographs with our lovely mascot posed in their utmost sexiest “paw-pose”. We also received tremendous support and had many signing up to be friends of PAW. The response to the event was heart warming and we will continue to host many interesting events to cater the interest to all animal-lovers out there.
